Full arch replacement, typically with all-on-four costs from £18,500 to £19,500.

When it comes to ill-fitting or uncomfortable dentures, knowing you can have a functioning and natural-looking smile in as little as a day makes this treatment great value for money.

As we can complete the All-on-4 technique in just one day, it minimises time spent in surgery, discomfort, inconvenience, and cost.

On top of this, it throws out the need for other costly procedures like bone grafts or sinus lifts.

  1. With implants costing from £3,500 (for crown and implant), patients can spend around £21,000 by placing up to six implants individually.
  2. Conventional dentures can cost up to £1,600. However, they only last a certain number of years and are not the most favourable.

To help spread the cost, we offer interest-free finance and other finance options to cater for patients of all budgets. Procedures like implant-retained dentures might also be a more affordable option – ask us about it.

At Dorset Dental, we offer 0% finance over 12 months with some longer terms available.

For example, using one of our payment plans, you could spread the cost of all-on-4 up to 5 years.

If you would like to discuss our finance options, please call us on 01202 97 33 00.

However, we always recommend starting with a FREE, no-obligation consultation. Book yours here.

The same-day smile procedure

How All-on-4 immediate placement works:

Implants, abutments, and the provisional process will be placed on the day of surgery – for patients; this means you can leave with a full set of top teeth in place and use them straight away.

However, we suggest that because of the surgical nature of the treatment, you adopt a soft food diet as the mouth might feel sore following the procedure.

But don’t worry – any post-operative instructions will be detailed to you before treatment begins.

During implant placement, depending on your case, we may use four or six implants to support the prosthesis – this is to provide more security to the front of the mouth.

A consultation with our clinicians will provide the level of detail we need to feel confident in proceeding and prescribing the All-on-4 treatment.

All on 4 FAQs

All on Four consists of one full arch of teeth supported by four dental implants.

Offering restored speech, chewing comfort and durability, patients experiencing total tooth loss turn to this affordable prosthesis for a revolutionary restoration.

Dental implants use a small titanium screw that acts like an artificial tooth root. Once in place, the implants will then support an abutment and crown or a full arch of teeth.

Minor dental surgery is required to insert the tooth implants.

The All-on-4 treatment is incredibly popular because it is one of the most secure forms of false teeth for the upper and lower arches.

The great thing about All-on-4 is that the human eye will barely be able to spot that the new teeth in your mouth are not your own, or even natural – you might even forget this fact yourself.

And as dental implants are known to last a lifetime, you will never have to worry about your teeth slipping or falling out ever again.

The specially crafted prosthesis will be custom-sculpted by our award-winning technicians, like Dr McCauley, who will design and create your crowns (replacement teeth) to complete the procedure after positioning the implant into the jawbone.

  1. I wear dentures that affect how I eat and talk
  2. Gum disease has been the cause of my teeth falling out
  3. My dentist has told me I have an insufficient amount of bone in my jaw for implant treatments
  4. My denture is old, or my bridge has failed
  5. I want to replace a full mouth of missing teeth

If any of the above statements resonate with you, you will be an excellent candidate for the full arch treatment.

One main advantage is that All-on-4 is a cost-effective way of having an entire arch of fixed teeth, especially as we make temporary restorations on the same day.

The next advantage is never having to wear dentures again, which means you can avoid all the discomfort that denture wearers report.

All-on-4 will give you the confidence to eat, smile and laugh much more than you would have before.

As we often make huge improvements in your bite, appearance and function, it can cause a transient phase of adaptability, which can be challenging to adjust to, even though those changes are all positive.

This is due to the mouth’s sensitivity; when you have something stuck in your teeth, most people become very irritated until they can work it loose.

So, if we have placed a brand new set of teeth in your mouth of the correct size and shape, it’s understandable that you may well take a while to adapt to your new teeth concerning eating and speaking.

The good news is that the mouth and brain work together efficiently to help you adapt in time to your new teeth.

For the first few days after having your teeth fixed to the implants on the day they are placed, we advise you to have a soft diet and eat slower, with smaller pieces of food.

Over the next few months, eating habits can slowly return to normal, and once you have your final definitive teeth, we would expect you to be able to eat anything you like.

The main difference over ordinary dentures is that you won’t have to avoid those foods you have been avoiding for years, like toffee, steak and apples.

The whole eating experience should be as close to having your actual natural teeth as possible

No, not at all.

We carefully place the implants so that we achieve a concept known as primary stability, where the jawbone grabs the implant to a degree whereby we can place teeth immediately onto the implants.

In addition, the implants are splinted together, using the Weldone technique, so that all of the implants gain strength from one another.

The implants are then left for at least three months before they gain their full strength by fusing further with the jawbone.

Titanium implants are long-lasting.

Our implants we place to support your fixed teeth should last for the rest of your life, as long as you keep them healthy with good home care.

On the day your implants are placed, we attach provisional teeth to them, replaced by your definitive teeth, anywhere up to a year afterwards.

This is a quick, easy, convenient and inexpensive way to keep you in fixed teeth for the rest of your life.
