Are you longing for a new smile, but don’t want to wait for months to see the results?

Everything you need to know about WeldOne™ implants

The WeldOne™ dental procedure is a method whereby teeth placed on implants during the same-day teeth protocols can be strengthened and made more rigid, improving the predictability of the same-day teeth procedure.

It involves a titanium reinforcement being permanently connected to the abutments (fittings) with enough force to sit firmly. It works by an electric current fusing the titanium material within the contact points between the titanium reinforcement and the abutment in a matter of milliseconds.

This permanent fixture allows a stable and immediate framework to support your new smile.

Dr Philip McCauley has been to Bologna, Italy, to learn the application of cutting-edge technology to help in the rehabilitation of immediately placed implants, using the WeldOne™ intra-oral resistance spot welding device. This is a very exciting new field in implant dentistry

How is WeldOne™ different to other types of implant procedures?

  1. WeldOne™ allows us to deliver you a bespoke smile all in one day.
  2. WeldOne™ is considered by dentists to be a fast and effective solution to full-arch restorations.

Unlike other forms of teeth in a day, the WeldOne™ technique uses specially designed components that allow your dental surgeon to drastically reduce the amount of time it takes to create and fit your new, bespoke teeth.

Many dental surgeons and specialists praise WeldOne™ as it reduces the risk of implant failures by providing a full, supportive framework, resulting in an even lower risk of complications.

FAQs

If you have been recommended or are seeking full-arch restorations, the WeldOne™ technique may work for you. Unlike other forms of teeth replacements such as dentures, WeldOne™ implants are designed to fit your jaw perfectly, meaning you should not suffer from any movement, fragility or lack of stability.

If you are looking for a long-lasting smile, this procedure is an excellent choice.

The process of carrying out the WeldOne™ procedure is not dissimilar to other types of implant procedures, such as All-on-4. Firstly, the dental implants are placed in your jaw. Then, the WeldOne™ components are placed on the implants. The next step, however, is where the process differs.

Our dental surgeon will fit, adjust and fuse a titanium reinforcement to connect your WeldOne™ components. This may sound dramatic, but the process is completely safe and has been developed by some of the world’s most respected dental surgeons.

Following the titanium wire, your dental technician will then weld

To ensure that the framework is invisible under your new teeth, the structure is finalised and coated before your bespoke teeth are added to complete the full restoration.

As with any form of dental implants, you will need to arrange a follow-up appointment with your dental surgeon to see how the implants are healing. One of the key benefits of WeldOneTM is that should any adjustments need to be made, the welding process and the components used are easy to adjust.

  1. Same day Implants placed and teeth made / fixed
  2. Fewer risks of fracture or breakages
  3. Safe and predictable teeth procedure
  4. Walk out with teeth on the same day of surgery
